Mike the Situation ain't got nothing on Brad!

I am so freaking psyched right now because my boxing client Brad's abs are finally coming in!

Brad at age 40

Brad came to me with two goals in mind. To learn how to box (he was terrible), and to build abs that will stop traffic when he takes his shirt off... Both tasks seemed impossible because Brad sucked at boxing and he had a gut that looked like a tire.  We've been working on both goals for a little over two years now and I am happy to say that there has been a break through.

 GOALS ACCOMPLISHED!
  • Brad is such a great boxer now that he'll probably need to get his hands registered because those bad boys are deadly weapons...
  • Brad is gonna be walking around with his shirt off this winter because his abs look amazing... The Situation ain't got nothing on him baby!

At 42 years old Brad is in better shape physically and aesthetically than he was in his 20's. It took two years for Brad to finally accomplish his goals and he'll tell you that it was worth it...

Brad lost 20 lbs and 12% body fat and he looks awesome. In fact, I am so impressed that I had to blog about it.

So it pisses me off when people try a workout program for one month and quit because they don't see results. Some people don't even bother exercising because they think there is no hope.

DON'T GIVE UP DAMMIT!

ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY PEOPLE!!! It takes time to build something beautiful.

If it took you one or two years to gain 20 lbs, why do you expect to lose all 20 lbs in one month?
Whether it takes 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years... with time, commitment, and patience you'll eventually get there. So if you find a program that you know might work, stick with it no matter how long it takes you to accomplish your goals.

Brad in action!

  1. Killer, man! Brad's looking right! Smooth hands and great head movement.

You guys (boxers) leave that lead leg out, or is that something to work on? I'm coming from a grappling background, so I don't know.

Regardless, you've hit on the key: Sticking with it. Once you believe that it can happen, it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you keep crushing and moving forward every day. It's obvious that Brad has done that. That attitude combined with a great coach will separate someone from the herd quick!

  2. Thanks Isaac..
Yea we boxers always lead with 1 leg forward.. That's why an MMA guy can easily take down a boxer... Lol.. But when it comes to stand up, the boxer got it..
